"GODS WILL RISE" project

Gods Will Rise is a science fantasy project about a world where magic exists alongside futuristic technology.It's main storyline focuses on a group of morally dubious characters rivaling for power, who are ultimately forced to join forces in the most dire of circumstances. It features strong family bonds, multiple romantic relationships and complex characters struggling with trauma, religion and morality. It's main focus being worldbuilding, the story is not planned to be published as a novel. It thrives in flexibility of being explored in various mediums. Currently it's shared mostly in snippets and illustrations.

I'm a digital artist & graphic designer specialising in art for romance and fantasy stories.When I'm not drawing I spend my time with my 3 cats, enjoying a peaceful life in a small mountain village in Poland. I love creating and experiencing art in all of it’s forms. Fantasy & science-fiction are my lifelong passion in any medium I can get my hands on from books to movies and games.If you ever ask me for book recs, my favourite book is Radiance by Grace Draven.

Experience

I've been making art professionally for almost a decade. I graduated art school with a diploma in Graphic Design (specialisation in branding). After a couple of years of work in an unrelated field I started my own small business working as a freelance illustrator. Nowadays I create character illustrations used for book promo and merch, as well as special editions. Most of my clients consist of romance authors and bookish shops.While my current focus is in digital painting and graphic design, I have experience across many different artistic disciplines. Some of those include photography, traditional painting, sculpting, printmaking, 3D modeling, animation and more.I paint in Clip Studio Paint, alternating between a Huion Kamvas Pro 24 and iPad Pro 11’. My graphic design work is created in the Affinity V2 suite. For other work I use Daz3D, Blender and DaVinci Resolve. I’m also no stranger to Canva - a tool is not what makes a designer and a good designer won’t be hindered by an imperfect tool.
